Choosing the right test

Which LanguageCert test should I choose?
It depends on your purpose, destination, required level, required skills and accepted delivery mode. Start with the test checker or contact us before payment.
Can you help me choose between Academic, SELT, International ESOL, B2 or LTE?
Yes. We can help compare the likely route based on your visa, study, work or certificate purpose. You should still confirm the final requirement with the receiving institution, employer or authority before booking.
Is the test accepted for my visa, university or employer?
Acceptance depends on the organisation receiving your result. Check the official requirement page, the destination guidance and, where relevant, the official LanguageCert recognition information before booking.
How do I confirm the required level or score?
Use the exact wording from your visa guidance, university offer, employer instruction or application page. If possible, send us the link or screenshot so we can help you check the test family, level, skills and delivery mode.
Can I use the test checker before contacting you?
Yes. The test checker is a good first step. It gives guidance only, so if the result affects a visa, university or employer application, confirm the exact requirement before paying.
Buying, vouchers and booking

What should I check before paying for an exam?
Check the exam family, CEFR level or score, required skills, delivery mode, test date, ID name and result deadline. For visa, university or employer use, check the official requirement again before payment.
How do I use the booking instructions or promo code?
Follow the booking instructions. If booking directly with LanguageCert, enter promo code 637329 before payment and confirm the discount appears before you pay.
Can I buy the test through English Language Center?
Yes. Buy a Test lets you select your exam and pay securely through Stripe Checkout or request an invoice. You buy a test voucher from us, then redeem it to book your exam session.
When do I receive my voucher?
We email your voucher and booking instructions after payment is confirmed and any necessary order review is complete. Delivery is not guaranteed to be instant. For invoice orders, we must receive payment first. Your payment receipt is separate from your voucher email. See our delivery terms.
How do I redeem my voucher and book a test date?
Follow the booking link and instructions in your voucher email. Sign in to or create your LanguageCert account, redeem the code for the exact exam and delivery mode you purchased, and choose an available session. Buying a voucher does not reserve a date or location. Contact us if you need help with these steps.
What if my voucher email does not arrive?
Check your spam or junk folder and the email address used at checkout. If you still cannot find it, email info@tlfgroup.fi with your order reference and checkout email address so we can check the order. Do not place or pay for another order, and do not send card details.
What if I choose the wrong test?
Contact us as soon as possible. Changes, refunds or rescheduling depend on the exam and provider rules, and the wrong exam may not be accepted by your institution or authority. This is why it is safer to check before paying.
Preparation and contact

Should I book now or prepare first?
If your level is close and the requirement is clear, booking may be sensible. If your deadline is tight, required score is high or weak skills are clear, request a preparation recommendation first.
Do you provide speaking or writing feedback?
Yes. Teacher-supported preparation can include speaking feedback, writing correction, exam-format practice and work on weak skills.
Can I prepare if my deadline is close?
Yes, but the plan must be realistic. We may suggest intensive preparation, a later test date or checking whether another date better fits your required score and current level.
Can I combine test booking and preparation?
Yes. We can review the target exam and preparation need together, then recommend whether to book now, prepare first or buy the test directly from us with guided booking support.
What happens after I submit a contact or preparation form?
We review your purpose, target country or receiver, required level, deadline and message, then reply with the clearest next step. If information is missing, we may ask for the official requirement link or document.
Do you guarantee a pass?
No. We can help you prepare in a focused way and reduce avoidable mistakes, but results depend on your level, study time, exam-day performance and the required score.
